Services and history

Meos Ambower Homestay has six private, over-water bungalows. All bungalows have verandahs with chairs and expansive ocean views. Bungalow bedrooms have raised beds. Sheets, pillows, bolsters and mosquito nets are supplied. Power outlets and room light switches are fitted.

Meals are served in an over-water dining room. A refrigerator is provided, but it is only powered while the homestay generator is on. Guests will always find free drinking water, tea and coffee making supplies available in the dining room. Please advise us upon arrival if you are vegetarian or have any other special dietary requirements.

Meos Ambower Homestay guests share a  concrete-floored bathroom building. A western style toilet is provided in one room and dip mandi (bucket) bathing in the other.

Electricity is from a generator and is only available from sunset to about midnight. Meos Ambower Homestay receives a 4G signal, and free wifi is available at night while the generator is running.
